Antigua and Barbuda together form a two-island state in the idyllic Leeward Islands chain. Best described as ‘a beach with an island in the middle’, Antigua is the classic powder-white sand and palm trees scenario, with sophisticated facilities (hotels, casino, golf courses, watersports and smart restaurants) – whilst the 1500 inhabitants of Codrington, unspoilt Barbuda’s only town, are way outnumbered by its resident Frigate Bird Colony.

This tropical bolt-hole at the very heart of the Caribbean offers adventurous sailors on longer breaks the possibility of island hopping jaunts to neighbouring Nevis, St Kitts, Anguila and Guadaloupe. For a more relaxing holiday, a leisurely sailing tour of Antigua’s own scenic coves, bays and beaches is the perfect stress relief course! The place names are like something from a child’s fantasy sailing adventure – Jolly Harbour, Nonsuch Bay, Boggy Peak, Jumby Bay – and in the main yachting centre of English Harbour lies the wonderfully restored Nelson’s Dockyard. Visit in the spring to savour one of the world’s foremost yachting occasions – Antigua Race Week – where the all-night partying is as exhilarating as the sailing!

Yacht Testimonials
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.

Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
