A balmy climate, calm seas, steady trade winds, low tidal range and weak currents make this a dream destination for novice sailors and families too. The largest island in this volcanic archipelago is Tortola, just 20 kilometres end to end, with two ports – Road Town and picturesque Soper’s Hole, and excellent beaches including Cane Garden and Long Bay. Sparsely inhabited Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke and the idyllic coral atoll, Anegada, are the BVI’s other main islands, where life is all about snorkelling, watersports, and barbecue parties on the beach. Yes, it’s tough at the top – but somehow we reckon you can handle it!

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
