The Greeks themselves are famously friendly and hospitable, and the sailing opportunities are many and varied. The Ionian Islands (including Corfu, Kefalonia and Zante) are well supplied with water, so they are green and fertile, whilst the Cyclades (Mykonos, Paros, Santorini) tend to be more barren and rocky with superb sandy beaches and great nightlife. The tiny islands in the Saronic Gulf just south of Athens offer sheltered conditions, and are perfect for history lovers looking to visit the Acropolis during their holiday. In late summer, the vigorous ‘meltemi’ winds make for exhilarating conditions, but the sheer number of islands makes it easy to chart a course consisting of short hops between civilised watering holes!

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
