Guadeloupe, famous for sugar and rum production, is so full of sweet, intoxicating delights, we hardly know where to begin! These include fabulous Caribbean white sand beaches, a volcano, waterfalls, mangrove swamps, coral reefs, and even tropical rainforest. And like Martinique, its famous sister island here in the French West Indies, Guadeloupe also has modern, sophisticated towns, with bags of Gallic style, and a spicy Creole twist (just like the cuisine).

The sailing is superb here too, and although more adventurous sailors may be tempted to chart a course for bustling Antigua to the north, or unspoilt Dominica to the south, there’s plenty to enjoy much closer to home at a more leisurely pace. You’ll discover easy moorings in tranquil, deep-blue lagoons and secluded coves, and line-of-sight navigation among a host of tiny satellite islands. These Include Pigeon Island, rated among the world’s top dive sites by underwater celebrity (and French institution) Jacques Cousteau, and today surrounded by a marine reserve that bears his name. It’s no wonder the native Carib Indians called this butterfly-shaped island paradise ‘Karukera’ – the land of beautiful waters.

Yacht Testimonials
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.

Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
