Croatia to get new yachting resort
May 18th, 2009
A new resort for yachts is to be built in Croatia, it has been revealed. The project, which will also see a hotel constructed, will cost around 100 million (£88.3 million) to create.
Sibenik is to be the home of the new attraction, which is the result of a collaboration between the Turkish company Dogus Group and the US-based Island Global Yachting among others.
It is expected that on completion it will be one of the most full-service yachting destinations along the coast, which has become popular for many boat enthusiasts in recent years.
Among the services expected to be on offer at the Sibenik-based marina will be 24-hour assistance and technical services, as well as a sailing school for those who want to enhance their skills.
Dubrovnik on the Croatian coast has become a favourite destination for many holidaymakers in recent years, drawn by the great beaches, historic sites and laid-back cafe culture.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
