New carbon rigging to be unveiled in Monaco
Jun 30th, 2009
Hall spars and rigging has announced that it will unveil its new product Seamless Carbon Rigging (SCR) at this year's Monaco Yacht Show.It is claimed by the company that the new rigging offers the 'lowest windage composite available' due to its small diameter but does not affect safety.
The Felci 50 Altair is the first boat in the Mediterranean to feature SCR and Eric Hall, president of Hall Spars and Rigging, was witness to its first sailing.
He said: "During the two club races we had plenty of time to look at the rig, which was practically perfect after Hall's Andrea Merani's dock tune. The next day after I left, it blew stink and the rig performed even better than hoped."
The Monaco Yacht Show takes place between September 23rd and 26th and is part of a busy month for the boat show calendar, with events in Cannes and Southampton also taking place.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
