South coast of France attractive to Britons

Those chartering a yacht this summer may choose the southern coast of France as a destination after the popularity of the area was highlighted by a travel expert.Areas such as Monaco and St Tropez have long been established as favourite areas for yachters and the country has not lost its luster for Britons, according to one expert.
A spokesperson for Atout France pointed out that France is an ideal place to visit regardless of the time of year.
"Affordable France has been created to prove that France still offers great holidays for every budget," said the spokesperson.
"British holidaymakers are present in all the different parts of France. However, some of the French regions appear to be of particular interest at specific times of the year. For example, the west and south coasts attract a lot of British tourists during the summer."
The yachting community will be particularly attracted to the southern coast of France next month for the Monaco Yacht Show, which is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious international nautical events.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
