Sophie Ellis Bextor to open Southampton Boat Show

Pop singer Sophie Ellis Bextor is set to open the 2009 Southampton International Boat Show on September 11th.Ms Ellis Bextor will host the opening of the show as well as posing for photographs and cutting the ribbon to officially get the event underway.
The stunning star will take time out from recording her fourth album to arrive at the event on the deep-V hull Princess 78 yacht, which is due to be unveiled during the show.
Managing director of National Boat Shows Andrew Williams said: "We are thoroughly looking forward to welcoming Sophie Ellis-Bextor to the PSP Southampton Boat Show.
"I am sure that her bright personality, charm and classic style will provide the perfect start to a fantastic 41st Show."
Princess Yachts is planning to unveil a number of new vessels at Southampton including the Princess 78 Motor Yacht, Princess V78 and the Princess V62 sports yacht.
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
