Yachtsman and daughter in rescue drama

A yachtsman and his pregnant daughter were involved in a dramatic rescue on Sunday (June 28th) after running aground on Kennack Sands near Fowey.RNLI coastguards from Falmouth were called to help the sailors after their yacht broke up on the beach.
The pair were sailing back from the Scilly Isles on their Yacht, the Vinca II, which is said to have also been their home, when they lost their bearings and decided to sail close to the shoreline.
A Falmouth Coastguard spokesman told the BBC: "They were not totally sure of their position and went too close inshore and were unfortunately driven aground."
A farmer from the locality is said to be storing some of the larger pieces of the vessel until further plans can be made.
The RNLI is an organisation which provides 24-hour support for those in peril at sea in the UK and Ireland and is run completely from charitable donations.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
