Bavaria launches new value Cruiser 32
Sep 28th, 2009
To "provide the best yacht, at the best value and quality, engineered and manufactured at the world's most modern shipyard".
That was the brief given to designers of Bavaria Yachts' new Cruiser 32, according to the company's chief executive officer Andres Cardenas, who helped launch the vessel at a recent show.
He was speaking at the HISWA boat show in Holland as the new model was given its first public appearance.
The value-focused yacht offers comfort for the whole family, while meeting the sophisticated design standards expected from a modern boat.
A spacious deck and bathing platform combined with a choice of colours makes the vessel an interesting choice for sailing fans.
It was developed by Farr Yacht Design (FYD) and BMW Group DesignworksUSA.
President of the former, Patrick Shaughnessy explained that the vessel was a challenge for the firm, but said it is a work that makes him proud.
The Cruiser 32 is little brother to the Bavaria Cruiser 45, which was launched earlier this year and features a twin-rudder and steering wheel system, as well as four cabins.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
