Two new crews are set to pilot yachts in the TP52 World Championships this year.In total, ten vessels will compete for the trophy, with the competition set to begin in Mallorca next week.
The UK's Henri-Lloyd Weapon of Choice will be joined by French outfit Paprec Recyclage.
Both boats have sailed before under different names and the crews will be hoping luck favours them in their first race.
The former will have renowned British sailor Rob Greenhalgh among its crew, as well as a host of other experienced seamen from the UK.
Those heading to Palma will see racing begin on October 6th and run over six days.
Teams from the USA, Spain, Argentina, Sweden, Italy and Russia will join the new entries in the competition.
Palma is located on the south-western coast of Mallorca - the largest of the Balearic Islands.
Other popular locations for yachts in the western Mediterranean include Barcelona, Ibiza and Cannes.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
