British Sailing Team gets sponsorship boost

G4S has announced that it will continue to sponsor Skandia Team GBR as well as adding additional crews to its financial programme.The security solutions group has extended its contract with the British Sailing Team to run for a further four years and has offered support to a further two 49er crews as they prepare for the London 2012 Olympics.
Peter Greenhalgh and Chris Draper are one of the two crews which will enjoy the sponsorship and Mr Greenhalgh said that having "a brand as prestigious as G4S showing confidence in us from the outset is fantastic.
"We couldn't have asked for a more encouraging start to our Olympic campaign."
The announcement was hailed by Royal Yachting Association Olympic Manager, Stephan Park, who noted that the team is delighted to have the backing of G4S.
The team can now concentrate on its performance and "not worry about the complicated logistics and security requirements involved with international travel and regattas," according to Mr Park.
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
