Pirates of the Caribbean star named as Unicef ambassador
Oct 13th, 2009
Brits may have enjoyed seeing Orlando Bloom sail around one of the world's most beautiful and renowned archipelagos in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, but the actor has recently taken on a more serious role.United Nations children's organisation Unicef has confirmed that the 32-year-old has been appointed as a goodwill ambassador.
His involvement with the charity can be traced back to 2007, when he visited schools in Nepal to help raise support for sanitation and education programmes in the area.
Those inspired by Bloom's films may like to set sail in the Caribbean themselves by chartering a private luxury yacht, such as the Seazen II.
The 21.34 metre catamaran spends summers cruising the western Mediterranean and winters exploring the Caribbean.
It sleeps up to ten guests and has three crew to take care of the sailing and cooking.
The Sunseeker 70 model is fitted out with a Japanese-style interior and has its own jet ski, dingy, water skis and wake boards to keep guests entertained.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
