School children educated about Caribbean culture
Oct 13th, 2009
School children in Middlesex have been given a taste of the Caribbean as part of Black History celebrations in the area.According to the Enfield Independent, Oakwood Primary School learned about the archipelago and carnival celebrations.
Each year group was given a different island to study, while the pupils were also visited by performers from STOMP and a dance workshop from Mia Chari - a former backing dancer for Take That.
Brits looking to gather experience of the Caribbean first hand could do so aboard a private chartered luxury yacht, such as the Damrak - a 70 ft motor-powered catamaran from Sunreef Yachts.
It sleeps up to eight guests and features a deck Jacuzzi, a 125 hp speedboat, jetski, as well as water ski, wakeboard and snorkelling equipment.
Those wishing to explore the reefs of the Caribbean may also find the Damrak's two Seabob underwater scooters useful.
The luxury private yacht is kitted out with a stylish interior and also has ample room on deck for sunbathing.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
