Newspaper highlights Caribbean diving paradise
Oct 15th, 2009
A national newspaper has highlighted the diving delights offered by the Caribbean. While the archipelago is known for its tropical weather, sandy beaches and lush, beautiful islands, the Daily Mail noted there is a whole other side to discover underwater.
It focused on the island of Saba, which is located around 140 miles north-west of Antigua.
The surrounding waters are protected so that visitors can not touch anything underwater, never mind go fishing.
While the Caribbean has numerous meccas for sport fishing, Saba is a national marine park and offers an idyllic setting for scuba divers.
Brits chartering a luxury yacht may decide to head to the island's south-east tip.
The newspaper described this area as having "nearly empty, unkempt, wild beaches, fringed by palm trees".
Those who wish to spend their Caribbean break on a luxury vessel may opt for the Seazen II - which is available over the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
The 70-ft Sunreef catamaran can sleep up to ten guests and could offer the perfect setting while spending the festive period in the Caribbean.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
