Jamaica to hold music festival

Jamaica to hold music festivalJYacht charter customers cruising the Caribbean this December may be interested in attending a live music event in Jamaica.

The Caribbean Holidaze festival is set to take place in the country for the final time after organisers announced it will be moved to a new location next year.

It has taken place at Runaway Bay since the event was founded in December 2007.

However, the revelation came with a hint that the festival could one day return to its roots, with the statement saying: "This will be the last time Caribbean Holidaze will call Jamaica home - at least for now."

Acts include Umphrey's McGee and the Disco Biscuits, with the five-day festival set to begin on December 10th at Runaway Bay.

One interesting feature of the show will be the Yacht Rock section, which will let visitors enjoy the "smooth sounds from 1976 to 1984" in a "musical reincarnation of this momentous phenomenon".

Those planning to attend while on a Caribbean yacht charter may be interested in a vessel like the Abuelo - a 70-ft twin 865hp engine luxury boat capable of accommodating up to 12 guests while cruising.

Yacht Testimonials
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.

Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
