Luxury yacht Octopus spotted in DurbanMicrosoft co-founder Paul Allen could be in Durban, South Africa, for the Academy of Sciences' Developing World Science and Technology Conference after it was reported his super yacht has been spotted in the harbour.

Allen, who left the software company in 1983, has parked his 127-metre Octopus in the city's docks, according to iol.co.za.

The vessel has two helicopter pads, a pair of submarines and a water line dock for jet skis.

Those wishing to emulate the billionaire may be interested in chartering a luxury private super yacht such as the stunning RM Elegant.

The 237.5-ft long yacht has 15 guest cabins and spends the winter cruising Caribbean destinations, such as the Virgin Islands, the Bahamas and both Leeward and Windward Islands.

It has three tenders, which can be used for exploring tropical landmasses or for waterskiing and wake boarding.

An onboard pool, sauna, massage room and home theatre should also keep guests busy, while the deck has ample room for sunbathing with a refreshing cocktail.

Yacht Testimonials
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.

Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
