Entrepreneurs look to Caribbean for investment opportunities
Oct 26th, 2009
A number of entrepreneurs have been paying attention to a Caribbean island with a view to investing in the region, it has been reported.According to the Irish Times, a delegation of Haitian policymakers attended the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards after a group of Irish businessmen set up the Soul of Haiti Foundation to help the island.
"There is great potential for Irish entrepreneurs to invest in Haiti, to create jobs . . . and to open markets for them in the region of the Caribbean and the US," explained advisor Jean-Maurice Buteau.
British investors wishing to visit the region to check out its potential may combine it with a break aboard a luxury chartered yacht, such as El Capi III.
The 62-ft twin-hulled catamaran sleeps up to eight guests and has a number of toys to keep them busy.
A Fishfinder and special fishing rod holder in the stern can help holidaymakers make a big catch, while a small launch with twin 50hp engines can get more intrepid guests close to some of the Caribbean's uninhabited islands.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
