A Canadian newspaper has been extolling the virtues of snorkelling in the Caribbean. The Toronto Star listed a number of hotspots for donning masks, fins and snorkels and exploring the wonders of the sea.
It said the Turks and Caicos offer "pristine conditions" with shallow reefs housing hawksbill turtles, nurse sharks and spotted eagle rays.
Similarly, St Lucia's "dramatic underwater vistas" may be worth a visit, with the newspaper advising visitors to stick to the south-west coast.
Other listed destinations for snorkel enthusiasts include Cuba, Nevis and Jamaica.
Those wishing to head to the Caribbean on a snorkelling adventure could do so by chartering the Mauni.
The luxury yacht sleeps up to six guests and has snorkel and fishing gear onboard, as well as adult wakeboards and kids' waterskis.
Its atmospheric deck lighting also makes the vessel an ideal place to entertain at night, with guests able to sip a cocktail and enjoy the warm Caribbean breeze.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
