Dominican casino launches new technologyA recently opened casino is hoping to attract Caribbean luxury yacht charter customers with it real-time remote roulette gaming technology.

The Sosua Bay Grand Casino, which opened last weekend (October 25th), is the first facility in the Dominican Republic to introduce the equipment.

Caribbean Casino and Gaming Corporation, which runs the new gambling den, has struck a ten-year deal with Kenilworth Systems for the use of the machines.

Casino chairman and chief executive Steven Swank explained that the move shows the facility's commitment to gaming in the Caribbean.

"[It demonstrates] how we plan to capture a part of what has the potential of being as much as $500 billion in total global internet wagering in the near future," he said.

While yacht charter customers may be used to stopping off at casinos in Monte Carlo, those wishing to do so in the Caribbean could use Catsy - a 62-ft Sunreef catamaran capable of sleeping up to eight guests.

Yacht Testimonials
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.

Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
