Caribbean becoming more popular
Nov 3rd, 2009
The number of people heading to the Caribbean for some winter sun has risen this year, according to new statistics.Figures from On the Beach show that there was a 16 per cent year-on-year increase in travellers to the archipelago in October 2009.
Data for all destinations show a rise of almost 40 per cent, with other popular destinations including the US and Canary Islands.
On the Beach chief executive Simon Cooper explained that it is encouraging to see more people booking.
He added that there are a number of "fantastic deals" available and suggested it was good to see Brits taking advantage.
Those looking for a more exclusive break may decide to charter a luxury yacht, such as the 18.28-metre Nirvana.
The sailboat can accommodate up to ten guests in opulent surroundings, while its twin hull provides stability for a smooth journey.
It comes with a crew of two, as well as its own dingy, wakeboarding equipment and snorkel gear.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
