Sailing committee member Chris Coote said: "The new slip and landing steps now look very smart and tidy, while the route of the South West Coast Path is maintained as before with new gates leading on to the slipway landing protecting members of the passing public from the steep drop to the water's edge."
Brixham Town Council chairman Chris Bedford, who performed the official opening ceremony, noted that volunteers from the club's steering committee were due a debt of gratitude for their hard work in the process of building the new slipway.
The Brixham Yacht Club, on the South coast of England, was founded in 1937 and plays host to a number of sailing events including World Championship racing.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
