Initiatives-Bovedia leads Solidaire du Chocolat Caribbean yacht raceAdrien Hardy and Tanguy de Lamotte currently lead the Solidaire du Chocolat Caribbean yacht race.

The pair are around half a day's sailing ahead of the chasing pack as they pass the tropical island of St Barts.

Sailing in Initiatives-Bovedia, the competitors have benefited from favourable trade winds up until now, but these are beginning to fade.

Meanwhile, Felipe Cubillos, skipper of Desafio Cabo de Hornos, explained that the lack of wind is not causing too many problems yet.

"It's very light wind," he said. "I think these sort of conditions will hold all the way to St Barts."

He revealed the yacht will not stop in St Barts as it looks to catch the leaders: "The race only finishes on the finish line, so we will continue fighting."

Those looking for a more leisurely sail could take in all the Caribbean has to offer aboard a luxury charter yacht such as the Nirvana.

The vessel sleeps up to ten guests and offers the perfect base for exploring the archipelago.

Yacht Testimonials
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.

Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
