Caribbean hotels offer electronic stimulation
Nov 10th, 2009
Caribbean hotels are latching on to children's love of electronic entertainment by providing a range of new attractions for youngsters.According to the New York Times, the Ritz-Carlton on Grand Cayman is offering kids aged eight and older the chance to write and produce short films on ocean ecology.
The DVD will cost parents $80 (£48), giving them a lasting memory of their child's holiday experience.
Meanwhile the Ganseoort Turks & Caicos on Provindenciales is offering young bookworms the chance to use electronic Sony Readers to download stories such as The Jungle Book and The Chronicles of Narnia.
Kids who would rather play at being pirates on a Caribbean trip may enjoy a luxury private yacht charter on board a sailing ship like the 80-ft Matelot.
The vessel comes with a crew of three, as well as snorkel gear, an underwater video and camera and a 50hp dinghy for exploring the islands of the Caribbean.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
