Caribbean yacht charter customers could continue diving passion at home

Caribbean yacht charter customers could continue diving passion at homeBrits planning on getting their first taste of scuba diving while on a luxury yacht charter in the Caribbean will not be disappointed if they decide to continue the sport back in the UK.

That is the opinion of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC), which said that British waters offer divers an experience that is equal to anything offered around the world.

The body's Try Dive campaign in September and October saw more than 700 non-divers take their first plunge, doubling numbers for 2008.

BSAC membership and marketing manager Alison Dando explained that the country has more than 11,000 miles of coastline ready to be explored with fins and a drysuit.

"There are so many places, and for UK divers, we all have our favourite and I think you will never run out of places to dive," she added.

Those who would rather sample the sport in the warm waters of the Caribbean could do so aboard the luxury charter yacht Matelot.

Capable of sleeping up to six guests in three opulent cabins, the sailboat comes with its own scuba gear.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.

Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
