Chairman Roger Goodyear told the newspaper: "The weather we have had has just been incredible, the best since 2006. It has brought record crowds and I think this has been the best festival yet.
"One caterer told me he covered his costs on Thursday alone, and visitors from as far away as America and Scandinavia have commented on the event's superb energy."
Yacht fans may soon be heading to the Southampton Boat Show which is one of the largest in the UK and begins on September 11th.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
