RYA announce plans for inland waterwaysThe Royal Yachting Association (RYA) has unveiled its stratagem for promoting Britain's inland waterways.

In association with a number of other bodies including the Inland Waterways Association and British Marine Federation, a number of objectives have been published.

These include a review of legislation pertaining to the waterways, promotion to a wider range of people which include those using the water for boating and those using the banks for other activities and more funds being made available to open up old routes that are no longer active.

Charlotte Atkins, Labour MP for Staffordshire Moorlands, lodged a motion in the House of Commons to support the new document.

It said: "This House congratulates the nine waterway organisations including the Inland Waterways Association, Royal Yachting Association and British Marine Federation that have joined together to promote inland waterways."

The motion also noted that "they recognise the importance waterways have for leisure, recreation, business and freight".

Yacht Testimonials
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.

Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
