Cowell to head off on Caribbean luxury yacht charter

Brits heading to the Caribbean on a luxury yacht charter holiday over the coming weeks could stand a chance of seeing pop mogul Simon Cowell.The X Factor supremo has chartered a crewed luxury yacht, complete with private chef to whisk himself, his 84-year-old mother and two former girlfriends off to paradise, the Daily Mirror revealed.
Cowell has reportedly asked Sinitta and Jackie St Clair to join him in the tropical archipelago, with the former admitting that she would be heading with him to Antigua.
"The best thing is that he has his own chef as he can't cook," she told the newspaper.
According to a source close to the X Factor judge and creator, Cowell has been left "totally exhausted" by the show and is heading to the Caribbean to enjoy fine weather and good company.
The newspaper recently revealed that the music tycoon has asked ITV for £2 million per episode to run X Factor next year.
This year's show was won by Geordie lad Joe McElderry, who was mentored by fellow northerner Cheryl Cole.
