Yacht charter destination music event changes venue
Dec 22nd, 2009
A music event in a popular yacht charter destination will set up its main base of operations 19 km from its former site for the 2010 instalment. The forthcoming Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival is to break with tradition and move its main stage to the Greenfield Stadium in Trelawny.
The reason for the move is the costs involved with organisers temporarily having to install major infrastructure for each staging at the old venue of Rose Hall Aqueduct in Montego Bay.
A loss of local parking facilities also affected the move, although the stadium is still very close to the coast, meaning that luxury yacht charter customers can still head to the event without too much land travel if they so desire.
Attendees can expect to see performances from Gladys Knight, Billy Ocean, Joss Stone, Robin Banks, Joe Roy Jackson and many more.
Greenfield stadium will host the event from January 29th to 30th, although there will also be performances in Kingston, Ocho Rios and Montego Bay in the week leading up to it.
The venue is located on the north of the Caribbean island, east of Montego bay, near the town of Falmouth.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
