Abramovich buys estate in luxury yacht charter destination

Luxury yacht charter customers heading to the Caribbean island of St Barts may wish to look out for one famous face who could be spending a considerable amount of time there.Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich has shelled out around £54 million for a new 70-acre holiday home estate on the tropical island.
He is set to invite 250 guests to a Christmas party at his latest purchase - the Gouvereur Bay Estate - which has previously been owned by David Rockefeller and software millionaire Jeet Singh, the Daily Mail revealed.
Featuring more than 1,000 ft of private beach, the estate is designed to mirror a Bali village and is set into a landscaped hillside.
"It is a spectacular property," a local real estate expert told the newspaper.
"Truly, it is one of the most amazing in the world. Roman fell in love with it."
Meanwhile, People magazine has suggested that Tiger Woods may be spending Christmas in the Caribbean aboard his luxury yacht Privacy.
