Since 1929 the Grand Prix de Monaco has been a highlight of the motorsports calendar, and the Jewel in the Formula One crown – and the 2010 season is gearing up for an epic battle of the Titans!
Current World Champion Jensen Button, last year’s winner here, will be defending his title against a megastar field which includes his new team-mate at McLaren, Lewis Hamilton, and the returning Formula One legend Michael Schumacher driving the Mercedes-GP. Schumacher’s old sparring partner (and Hamilton’s former team mate) Fernando Alonso, in the Ferrari, will also be keen to make his mark.
This unique gladiatorial contest, waged at an astonishing average speed of 140Km per hour through the narrow streets and around La Condamine’s famous harbour, filled with superyachts hosting the international ‘social set’, is bound to present an unmissable spectacle. You simply have to be there!
