The 63rd Festival de Cannes: from 12th to 23th May 2010

Tim Burton (director of Edward Scissorhands, Batman Returns, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and now Alice in Wonderland starring Johnny Depp) will head this year's Cannes Film Festival jury to award the coveted Palme d'Or for Best Film.

Following the celebrity shindig at the Academy Awards ‘Oscars’ Ceremony in Los Angeles, where blockbuster movies like The Hurt Locker and Avatar go head-to-head, the Cannes Festival is less about ‘showbiz’ glitz, and more about film as an art form, showcasing the bright new talents and rising stars of tomorrow.

As the film industry’s ‘trade fair’ (rather than the Hollywood establishment’s vanity fair!) Cannes still offers cinema fans and celeb-spotters a star-studded spectacle, with everybody who’s anybody in the movie world packed into just one square mile of the French Riviera, soaking up the glorious Mediterranean sunshine. Be there to share the experience!

Yacht Testimonials
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.

Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
