Fountaine Pajot Salina 48 Catamaran Comfort and Hull Space Advances Lavezzi 40 for Antigua Sailing

Antigua Caribbean yacht charter blue water cruising enhanced by same level, long water line, high hull stability on Fountaine Pajot Salina 48

Salina 48 catamaran, launched in 2008 by Fountaine Pajot, advances former Lavezzi 40 design build and layout to new, offshore yacht charter standards of hull dimension, load carrying, and comfort sea cruise performance. The 48ft LOA, low centre of gravity, slender shape and 136m, 2 sail plan combine with composite RTM eco-technology and high hull stability for near pitchless steering.

Developing the 39ft LOA, 2004 Lavezzi 40 ‘open-space' feeling with its' 8 seat saloon and aft facing semi-circular galley, the Salina 48 integrates its' L-shaped galley, saloon and cockpit with generous entry access from the sunbathing deck, aft. Super large, strong Lexan polycarbonate windows stretch in a 360 degree unrestricted panorama, opening space and sweeping light straight through the pristine, saloon interior elegance of light sycamore and stitched leather.

Both Lavezzi 40 and Salina 48 offer a Standard version 4 double cabin/ 4 bathroom and Owner's Version 3 double cabin/ 3 bathroom layout/single bed forward, served with unique design, sleek oval porthole light. Wide deck and effortless, direct wheel steering deliver an impressive and economical 8.7 knots at 2400rpm, ideal for ocean cruising to the 365 beaches of Antigua. Anchoring at the Caribbean north-western coast of Dickenson or Runaway Bay, stunning views of English Harbour from Shirley Heights or blue water snorkelling along ten miles of uninterrupted pink and white Barbuda beaches await.

Yacht Testimonials
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.

Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
