New Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42 DS Sleek Hull, Smart Space, Yacht Charter, BVI

Enhanced deck saloon sailboat profile with cats eye lookout takes interior feline grace on effortless skippered yacht charter cruise to lush BVI Tortola.

First launched by Jeanneau in 2006, the new Sun Odyssey 42 DS, a 12.93m LOA Marc Lombard-designed monohull, aft-cockpit fibreglass loop, features a sloping raised deck boasting distinctive cat's-eye windows, the compelling centrepiece of a finely turned, aesthetic profile. A 3-part cockpit for optimal dining, relaxing and sailing accompanies the 2 helm station steering. Panoramic visibility, light and fresh air from 6 fixed hull and 8 opening ports with 4 opening deck hatches forward-facing, constantly massage the sea borne senses.

Below deck, an immaculate, luxury saloon with u-shaped seating to starboard, lounge seating to port, is styled with wrap-around, stitched cream cushions and fine laminated teak with solid wood trim curving round galley and companionway, finished in light-coloured floor detailing. Purpose built for smart, relaxed, comfort living, the 6 berth 42 DS is available in a 3 cabin, 2 head layout or a spectacular, spacious 2 cabin 2 head with centreline double berth, aft.

At 8 to 20 knots with main and full genoa, the 42 DS makes skippered yacht charter effortless ocean cruising to the stunning necklace of islands and cays of Caribbean BVI. Graced with year-round tradewinds and protected anchorage in the quiet, palm-fringed coves of Tortola - Spanish for ‘turtle dove' - a lush mountainous island providing main port of entry for the growing megayacht charter and cruising elite.

Yacht Testimonials
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.

Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
