Cannes Yacht Club in no mood for nudists

Complaints from members of the prestigious Cannes Yacht Club has caused authorities in the area to ban nude sunbathing on a nearby beach.Palm Beach, which is situated in front of the boating headquarters, has long been a hotspot for naked beachgoers but recently the exposure levels have become offensive to club members.
A Cannes town hall spokeswoman told Reuters that the beach had "provoked complaints, notably from the yacht club".
A spokeswoman for the yacht club noted: "We organize sailing for children, we have a restaurant, but when the naturists get up from bathing they walk around naked.
"Until now they were tolerated, they were quite discreet, but the problem that triggered the decision was that recently their behavior became more questionable."
Cannes Yacht Club has been operating its sailing and racing school since 1963 training sailors in the Optimist and Laser 4.7 classes.
The club trains young yachtsmen and women from the age of six upwards.
