Abu Dhabi yacht show to return in 2010

The Abu Dhabi Yacht Show (ADYS) is set to return for its second annual outing in 2010.

After its successful inauguration this year, the second event, which caters exclusively for vessels of 25 meters or larger, has been confirmed for February 25th to the 27th.

According to the ADYS website, yachts which held an accumulative value of $200 million were sold during the Middle Eastern show in 2009 and it is now keen to be seen as the premiere point of interest for those looking to showcase super yachts.

However, despite the success of 2009, the show will undergo some changes before retuirning.

Group director of the ADYS Franck Dailles said: "We have experienced even greater demand from exhibitors for the second edition of the show, and we shall require more space for the 150 or more exhibitors.

"We expect to showcase many breath-taking models once again and display the industry's latest products and services even more effectively."

Those wanting to look a little closer to home for a yachting showcase may wish to travel to the Southampton Boat Show in September.

Yacht Testimonials
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.

Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
