Boat show announces exclusive highlights for 2009The organisers behind the PSP Southampton Boat Show have unveiled some of the exclusive highlights they have in store for this year's festival.

As part of the show's 'signature feature' Try a Boat, visitors will be able to partake in a free test drive of a new boat provided by National Boat Shows (NBS), as well as taking in the safety briefing and donning a buoyancy before setting sail.

The show's main Marina, the largest of its kind in Europe, will host up to 400 boats, including brands and exhibitors like Fairline, Lagoon, Sunseeker, Oyster and Discovery Yachts.

The science ship Callista - also docked in the Marina - will be open to visitors, offering them a unique opportunity to sensually engage with ocean life.

What is more, there will also be the chance for guests to get involved in the Record Break Stage Show in Solent Park to officially mark the event in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The show will be open daily at 10am from September 11th to September 20th.

Tickets can be bought on the day for £23 or can be booked in advance for £18.

Yacht Testimonials
"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.

Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
