Varna gears up for HYPO Bulgaria Boat Show 2009

In an effort to boost the attraction of the Bulgarian coast to yacht owners, the country is hosting its third annual boat show this weekend. Taking place at Varna from May 21st to 26th, the HYPO Bulgaria Boat Show 2009 is a popular one in the region, with more than 8,000 people visiting last year.
As well as an exhibition of the most up-to-date boats for sale, there is also a conference and socialising opportunities taking place.
Previous exhibitors at the event included BMW, Hyundai, Mint and LZ Yachting, as well as local yacht makers.
Over 50 yachts are to be displayed, half of which will be situated on the water while the others will be grounded.
Additionally there will be displays of cars, diving equipment and boating accessories at the exhibition.
The Black Sea coast has a number of beautiful spots for those visiting by boat, including a huge number of sandy beaches, Roman ruins and various eastern European monasteries.
