Yachting world defies recession
Aug 3rd, 2009
Yachting is a way for many to escape the recession, with yacht charters to summer sun spots an option that many take to beat the recession blues and superyacht designers are out to prove it.Radical design and complete opulence is the choice de jour for designers wanting to create the ultimate cruiser for the super rich.
One such vessel is the Infintas, designed by Schopfer yachts, a US company that claim to be "dedicated to the pursuit of advanced yacht aesthetics and technology".
Infintas is a 300 foot superyacht with a carved out stern and elliptical deck constructs.
The hull all flows "seamlessly" thanks to an interior spine which gives the vessel superior strength and features an elevator, swimming pool, helicopter pad and a fly bridge with a glass floor, enabling users to walk over the swimming pool.
The vessel can accommodate up to 12 guests as well as a full crew compliment.

"I would recommend Dream Marine to others. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. I didn’t mind who I talked to. It was all good. Shame having to come back to London afterwards.
Come on Chris… when’s the next one?"
