Scottish first minister names round-the-world yacht

Alex Salmond, the first minister of Scotland, has named Edinburgh's official entry into this year's Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.He dubbed the vessel Edinburgh Inspiring Capital in front of hundreds of onlookers at the Port of Leith to the north of the city.
The yacht will represent the Scottish capital when it begins the global event on September 13th on the Humber.
Mr Salmond said: "This is going to be an exceptional adventure for all of the crew but there are several youngsters here for whom it's going to be particularly special because they are all Edinburgh youngsters.
He went on to say that the city and the government was "proud to be supporting" the team as they embark on a "great adventure".
"And if ye di'nae win it, then di'nae bother coming back!" he later joked.
The Clipper round-the-world yacht race will garner an audience of around 200 million worldwide, according to the event website, and the fleet will race over a 35,000 mile course.
