Heralding the start of the Caribbean yacht charter season, the annual Antigua Charter Yacht Show will be showcasing over 100 of the finest super yachts and most prestigious luxury charter mega yachts in the world at Nelson's Dockyard Marina, Falmouth Harbour, December 6th-11th.
Recognised as one of the industry's foremost international Charter shows, attracting worldwide yachting press, and with over 140 exhibitors who aim to provide an unique opportunity for Charter Brokers to inspect the yachts at the start of the winter season so they may advise their clients with the best charter yacht recommendations.
A full schedule of daily events is planned throughout the show, including the opening Monday Invitation Only ‘Welcome' Dinner party at the Copper & Lumber Store Hotel and the Wednesday Antigua Yacht Club Marina Night and Concours de Chef Prize Giving Champagne Reception!
In between the daily evening drinks receptions, special informative, cruising seminars will be given plus various organisations will be holding their yearly charter meetings, including the American Yacht Charter Association bi-annual at the English Harbour, alongside a number of specific broker events at the Antigua Yacht Club Marina.
Pre-eminent amongst the assembled magnificent superyachts will be a special selection of some of the world's largest and most breath-taking luxury yachts, as featured in the Top 100 Largest Yachts listing.
Alongside the 2009 refitted 214ft ‘Natita' with elegant Dutch exterior styling and the newest Monaco Yacht Show 2010 debut of the 221ft ‘Sycara V', floats the Show's glittering centrepiece, the 247ft, 12 berth ‘Princess Mariana' refitted in 2008, and the Perini Navi future yacht design ‘Maltese Falcon', at 286ft the largest superyacht at the 2010 Antigua Show.
Also on water will be featured several of the Dream Marine portfolio skippered yacht charter vessels, such as the superb 82ft Ravenous, an Elite range 6 berth Oyster and Ipharra, a luxury, 102 foot Sunreef Catamaran, which is not only the first double deck sailing catamaran in the world, but also the second biggest sloop rigged catamaran, accommodating up to 12 guests and 4/5 crew for Caribbean winter cruising.
The newly extended show will see all registered yachts remain on the dock throughout the first five days, climaxing on the final day, Saturday with ‘Sail Day', which will take visiting brokers on a 'micro-charter', cruising Antigua's stunning coastal waters and Caribbean islands aboard a select choice of finest ocean-going superyachts.
